Insurance

Accidental damage to the Chromebooks will be covered under the high school’s insurance policy, but negligence, intentional damage, and theft will not be covered. Damages to any Chromebook may result in the student meeting with a member of administration. If it is determined by administration that the damage was caused by anything other than an accident, the student will be charged all applicable repair fees.  Students that wish for The Chromebook Office to file an insurance claim on their behalf, then submit their devices for repair, must explain to Mr. Hensley or Mr. Rouleau how the damage occurred, in detail. Our insurance companys will not accept or approve claims where the damage is not thoroughly explained (i.e. “I don’t know; it just happened.”)
