Spring 2021 FREE Early College Learning Opportunities

Colleges and Universities from around the State of Maine are offering FREE Early College Courses to all 10th, 11th and 12th grade students during the Spring 2021 semester. Colleges are now registering students.

Please take some time to look at the different options, Lewiston High School Early College Spring 2021 Learning Opportunities.

Most of the classes will start near the middle of January and end in mid May. Space is limited and enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. Some courses have prerequisites that must be met prior to enrollment and some listed courses are for college students in a particular major.

The program is looking for students who have at least a 3.0 GPA, with special exceptions made on a case by case basis for students with a lower GPA. These classes would be in addition to your high school classes. Please remember these are college level courses and include a considerable amount of extra work.

It is YOUR responsibility to order the required textbook for the class. If you need assistance purchasing the book, please let me know ASAP.

Taking college classes in high school can save you between $300 and $2000 per class. These credits will transfer to most colleges and universities around the country.
