Class of 2023 FAFSA Information

Hello Class of 2023 Students and Families;

Are you interested in getting free money for you to go to college?   Now that the school year is underway, it is now time to plan to apply for financial aid for college for the 2023-2024 academic year.  The FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, must be completed to qualify for free money, scholarships and grants, federal student loans and federal work study.  Money is awarded on a first come first served basis, the sooner you complete the application the more money you may qualify for.

The 2023-2024 FAFSA is available on October 1st, and we would like to support you in completing the application. Whether you are planning to go to a 4 year school, 2 year community college or 1 year trade school, the FAFSA MUST be completed.

There will be Financial Aid Counselors available to help students and families complete the application.  All you will need is your 2021 tax return and your student’s 2021 tax return to complete the application.  The process takes about 20-25 minutes to complete. This is a drop in workshop, so, you will only need to stay until your application is complete.

Please make sure you have created an FSA ID account prior to the workshop.  Details for account creation can be found at fsaid.ed.gov
